Special Education
- The Department provides special educational services to all children with special needs. It works closely with teachers, parents, siblings and other family members to identify and support children with special needs. In order to ensure a holistic development of the all children, the department works collaboratively with other departments of the Centre i.e. occupational therapy, speech therapy, clinical psychology, physiotherapy, social work and vocational training.
Department adopts mode to impart the special education services as individualized Education Programme (IEP), Individualized Family Support Programme (IFSP), Group therapy and Parental counselling.
Special education department provides the individual systematically planned instructions and evaluate to help children with special needs to achieve the greatest possible personal self – modicum for success in present and future healthy situations.
Special education is designed to ensure that students with disabilities are provided with an environment that allows them to be educate effectively and perform efficiently.
