Prosthetic & Orthotic

The Department provides care to patients with partial or total absence of limbs or muscle weakness/bony problems by designing, fabricating, and fitting of scientifically fit prostheses or artificial limbs and orthosis.

Department also distribute assistive/supportive/mobility devices as per need of patients.

Prosthetic & Orthotic unit give services to the persons with disabilities in terms of assessment, measurement, fabrication, fitment and training of various types of orthotic, prosthetic splint, adaptive devices as per their needs and requirement to make accessible to the environment.

• Gait Training
• Aids / Appliances distribution under the ADIP Scheme
